NIAC is pleased to welcome Joshua Shimony, M.D., Ph.D., from the Neuroimaging Lab (NIL) at Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Shimony will be delivering a five-part summer lecture series on Friday afternoons from 1:30 to 2:30.
“MRI for Beginners: MRI Physics, Part II”
Lecture two in this series will continue where lecture one left off, covering gradients, generation of the gradient echo, and spatial localization with K-space.
Note: We apologize, but due to a technical problem with the recording equipment on site, we were not able to capture audio from the July 15 lecture. As a substitute, we can present this archived lecture from 2008, which presents the much of the same material.
A note on location: These lectures will be held at the Scarpellino Auditorium in the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology. (Click here for a map.)
